Sixty four portals of officials and scholars in Ming and Qing Dynasties are exhibited in the exhibition. The portals were painted by famous local painters. Rare raw materials such as carefully selected plants and minerals were used as painting pigments. Those paintings are still colorful and lifelike status after hundreds of years. The portals mainly are local officials recorded in the “General Annals of Yunnan”, which has important reference value for the study of the social history at that time. Collectors cautiously preserved these portals and illustrated the past story of Yunnan for audiences.
